Product Overview
This product is a low-concentration, ready-to-use dispersion of thin-layer molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂), a two-dimensional material with a graphene-like layered structure. MoS₂ commonly exists in three crystal phases (1T, 2H, 3R), with the 2H phase being the most stable and predominant in bulk materials. Our dispersion is synthesized using a lithium intercalation method: n-butyllithium inserts lithium ions between MoS₂ layers, forming an intercalation compound that expands in solvent and is exfoliated via ultrasonication. The resulting nanosheets exhibit a 1T-2H mixed-phase structure, with approximately 60% 1T phase content (batch-dependent).
