Magneto-plasmonic biosensing platform mediated by localized surface plasmon bioprobes for ultrasensitive detection

Background:

Trace biomolecule detection is critical, but conventional SPR and magneto-optical signals are weak and broad.

Methods: The team used Ag/CoFeB/Ag, alternating magnetic field modulation, dynamic phase-locked TMOKE detection, and AuNP bioprobes for LSPR near-field enhancement, then tested IgG and AFP in serum.

Results: FOM reached 450.13 RIU-1, about one order above SPR; FWHM narrowed about 90%. IgG LOD was 5.2 pM; AFP LOD was 78.91 ng/mL in 5% serum.

Note: This is only a scientific frontier share and does not constitute any related advice.
