Product Overview
Thin Layer WS₂ Nano Powder consists of tungsten disulfide nanosheets with a precisely controlled few-layer structure. This transition metal dichalcogenide features the characteristic S-W-S “sandwich” configuration, where tungsten atoms are covalently bonded between sulfur layers in a hexagonal arrangement. We synthesize this material through an optimized lithium intercalation process, creating an intercalation compound that expands in solvent and undergoes ultrasonic exfoliation before freeze-drying. The resulting powder maintains a 1T-2H hybrid crystal structure with approximately 60% 1T phase content (batch-dependent variation).
